Hello and welcome to my website. Do take a look around and if you have questions, or concerns you can call or email and we can have a conversation without obligation.
I offer psychotherapy, creative arts therapy and clinical supervision in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental setting.
Everyone experiences emotional difficulties at some stage in life and they can often be resolved without outside help, although sometimes they are too challenging to cope with alone. Sometimes speaking with friends or family isn't possible, and these are times when seeking a therapist with training and experience can be an invaluable option and resource.
- struggling with unwanted changes in your life?
- managing difficult feelings?
- feeling overloaded and burnt-out?
- affected by the uncertain times in which we live?
- has something unexpected happened?
- maybe you have recognised a troubling pattern in yourself?
- trying to make sense of something less defined that is
I have a wide range of experience so do make contact even if you don't see your particular struggles here:
Do you have ME / CFS, Fibromyalgia, EDS, or Chronic Pain Syndrome? I offer a body mind approach to managing pain and ongoing symptoms. If you are interested in finding out more then do call me for an informal chat to see if this is for you.
Everyone is unique and with respect to this diversity I work with people from all walks of life and cultures.
I have 20 years experience working with individuals in private practice and I have also worked in GP surgeries, in the voluntary sector, and with a major mental health charity. I can work with you for a short term or for a longer period depending on the circumstances you bring and what we agree between us.
I am a qualified and registered psychotherapist committed to providing counselling, psychotherapy and supervision in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I also am committed to my own personal and professional development.
"It is our so-called weaknesses and vulnerabilities that link us with our deeper selves and with each other and not our so-called strengths, which merely make us independent." - C. G. Jung
I offer Clinical Supervision and work with both individuals and groups. My approach is reflexive and integrative and I work with students in training as well as qualified therapists, and anyone who works with people in a helping capacity, such as social workers, support workers, nurses, doctors, coaches and those who hold a spiritual or religious role. Creative art practices can be included in the supervision process if that is helpful. I am happy to have an informal conversation if you wish to discuss your clinical needs and the possibility of working together.
2020 - I currently have space opening up for Clinical Supervision in both locations.
